1. Sunny places are warmer than shady places.
2. Most plants grow best when placed in a sunny place. Plants need light to grow and this light usually comes from the sun.
3. Clothes do not produce heat. They only work as an insulator keeping your own body heat in.
4. Rubbing objects together, such as your hands, will produce heat.
5. Be able to explain ways that sunlight affects people or animals by providing heat and light.
6. Be able to identify objects as hot or cold.
7. Be able to explain at least one experiment we did and how it worked.
